This kid is grappling with exactly that dilemma. They shared that they were gifted a Rolex. Now that's a gift worth showing off! Right? Right?
Well… maybe not. You can read this guy's story below and see if he's going about this in the right way or not. Because he doesn't really care for the Rolex his Aunt gifted him, and there's probably no way to tell her that without hurting her feelings.
With many family presents, you can just chuck that sweater or pair of shoes in the back of the closet if you don't like it. When it's a pricey watch, though, that's a whole different story entirely.

It probably depends on the Aunt's feelings about the whole thing… but you'd hope she'd want her nephew to feel confident in his present. If he was close with her and his uncle, he could say that the uncle would want that for him too. Graduation marks a whole new time in someone's life. A fresh start, new avenues to walk down, jobs that'll change your whole life overnight. Wearing a watch that looks classy and chic and cool is exactly what this grad should have.
